Diving in St. Martin/St. Maarten

Scuba Diving in Saint Martin is fantastic. Here, you’ll see healthy, vibrant reef systems, dynamic wrecks, canyons, lava tubes, picturesque swim-thrus, and a wide variety of life. Sharks, spotted eagle rays, turtles, and massive lobsters are regulars, and we also have seasonal encounters with dolphins and occasional visits from humpback whales.  There are great opportunities for macro photography as well, with flamingo tongues, nudibranchs, fireworms, and a variety of other small aquatic life. Check out our photos on Facebook to get a glimpse.

VIP Service- At Both Locations!

Providing true VIP service means that you will never feel like a number at Octopus Diving. We take out a maximum of 6 divers per trip on our largest boats. What are our boats like? They’re fast and comfortable, allowing us to dive on both sides of the island, at the best sites each and every day. Take a closer look at them here.

From the moment you arrive, your boutique dive experience begins. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will walk you through the check-in process and help outfit you with top-of-the-line rental equipment, or if you have your own gear, they’ll handle everything for you. You don’t need to lift a finger, we will take your equipment to the boat and set it up. If you would like to set up your own equipment, please let us know. Then, after a quick boat ride, we give you a full dive briefing, help you into your equipment, do a pre dive safety check and make sure that you are on your way to an awesome and safe experience with one of our seasoned professional dive guides.

After the dive we help you out of your gear, up our custom built dive ladder and back onto the boat.  During the surface interval (normally 30 – 45 minutes) on our 2-tank trips, you will relax in the bow of the boat enjoying complimentary oranges and refreshing drinking water while we prepare for the second dive. After the surface interval we are off to a different amazing site where we make our second dive.

Upon our return to the dive shop you just need to step off the boat and back up to the shop, where we will rinse and store your gear or help you pack up for your return to your cruise ship or hotel. Keep in mind, our modern, well maintained rental dive gear is serviced regularly and guaranteed to be in good working order. With the increased cost of luggage on flights these days, why not leave your BCDs and Regulators at home and use our equipment? If you like, just bring your own mouth piece and we will change it for you. We will also provide all the dive site information you’ll want to record in your log book.
